Wednesday, June 25 - Lower Sycamore Creek. This trail starts at the parking area on the Tellico River Road right by the bridge over the river to the fish hatchery. We will meet at the Ingle's parking lot in Madisonville at 8:00 AM or at the Tellico Plains Hardee's at 8:30 AM to carpool up to the trailhead. Monday, June 30 - Conasauga Falls Hike. This is a short hike down a well groomed trails to a set of cascades on Conasauga Creek, then back out the same way. About 3 miles round trip. Wednesday, July 9 - Hike up Hemlock Creek on North River Road, 3.4 miles.  We will hike up the old railroad grade section of Hemlock Creek.  Water shoes will need to be worn for the very shallow 11 crossings and recrossings of the creek.  This is an annual club favorite.  The trail is mostly shaded for the whole walk.  Meet at the Ingle's parking lot in Madisonville at 8 a.m. or at the Hardee's in Tellico Plains at 8:30 a.m. Contact: Richard Harris, 423-253-6358 (h), 513-260-1184 (c), HarrisRi@aol.com

Monday, July 14 - Hike up Middle Prong Trail of the Little River to the junction with the Panther Creek trail. Tremont area of the Smokies.  4.6 miles round trip. This trail gradually climbs 700 feet and follows the former roadbed of the Little River Logging Railroad.  Meet at the Ingle's parking lot in Madisonville at 8 a.m. Contact: Faye Daniel, 423-442-6288 or 423-315-6459, fayedaniel@webtv.net

Wednesday, September TBD - Hike up Brookshire Creek to the cascades --- 4.8 miles round trip. Almost level with a 200 foot elevation gain in 2.4 miles.  Water shoes will be needed to wade across the Bald River at a shallow gentle section of the creek.  Meet at the Ingle's parking lot in Madisonville at 8 a.m.  Contact: Dave Bennie, 865-254-0200 (C), davealinda@yahoo.com or Johanna Cooley, 442-442-3643.

Wednesday, October TBD - Hike up Henderson Mountain Trail (gated logging road section) and downhill on Panther creek Trail to the Tellico River Road  --- 4.8 miles. Trailhead is 2.1 miles off of the Tellico River Road on the well maintained, graveled Bald River Road.  An easy six mile car shuttle required.
